BMW India has officially opened pre-launch bookings for the all-new second-generation BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, marking a significant step forward in the brand’s premium compact segment strategy for India. Here’s a comprehensive look at what this stylish newcomer brings—and why enthusiasts should be ready to act by 17 July 2025.

Booking Details & Launch Timeline

  • Booking Launch: Starting 12:30 hrs IST on 9 July 2025, customers can pre-book through any BMW dealership nationwide or via the BMW India online portal.
  • Official Launch: Scheduled for 17 July 2025, this debut aligns well with India’s festive sales period.
  • Made in India: Assembled at BMW’s Chennai plant, this local production boosts accessibility and speaks to BMW India’s commitment to domestic manufacturing.

Design & Proportions: Sport Meets Elegance

The second-gen 2 Series Gran Coupe presents a sharper, more extroverted persona in comparison to its predecessor. Visually, it retains the hallmark coupe-like roofline but adopts bolder lines and contours, especially noticeable in the front and rear bumper designs enhanced under the sporty M Sport package.

  • Dimensions: The wheelbase (2,670 mm) and width (1,800 mm) remain unchanged, preserving spatial harmony. Exterior length grows by +20 mm (now ~4,546 mm), with height increased by +25 mm (approx. 1,445 mm).
  • Visual Appeal: LED adaptive headlights and a reimagined grille provide a sophisticated facelift. Standard 18-inch alloys further reinforce its athletic posture.

Interior & Technology: NextGen Digital Cockpit

BMW continues its push toward digital innovation with the Gran Coupe’s interior, featuring the transformative BMW Widescreen Curved Display: a sleek panel combining a 10.7-inch infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.

  • Operating System 9: Providing a refined UI/UX experience, this OS supports seamless smartphone integration via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Premium Amenities: Included features are a panoramic sunroof, wireless mobile charger, 360° camera system, automated parking facility, ADAS functionalities, and a digital key allowing remote control of cabin temperature, boot access, and more.

Cabin aesthetics adhere to BMW’s minimalist yet luxurious ethos, with options like dark mocha-brown upholstery paired with soft-touch surfaces and metallic finishing.

Powertrain & Chassis: Driven, Refined

Under the bonnet, BMW India introduces a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine producing 156 hp and 230 Nm torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels.

  • Platform Continuity: Built on the UKL2 platform—shared with the previous-gen model—this newer iteration continues delivering balanced handling and ride comfort.
  • Chassis & Suspension Upgrades: BMW mentions “extensively enhanced suspension technology” and “innovative driving and parking assistance systems,” promising sharper dynamics and enhanced safety features.

Segment Positioning & Market Outlook

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe slots as the brand’s entry-level sedan offering four doors and a low coupe silhouette—a “gran coupe” design philosophy that blends sportiness with practicality. With its refreshed aesthetics, updated tech suite, and contemporary drivetrain, it directly rivals models such as the Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan in India.

Local production is strategic, allowing for competitive pricing and possibly shorter delivery lead times—a critical consideration for buyers tuning into the festive season.

Expert Take: Why It Matters

  1. Design & Styling

The sharper lines and coupe-styled roofline give the car a more athletic silhouette, crucial for appealing to young professionals and urban families.

  1. Technology Leadership

With its dual widescreen display and BMW OS 9, the model enters the race for best-in-class tech, rivalling offerings from premium brands like Audi and Mercedes.

  1. Powertrain Efficiency

Although not the most powerful, the 1.5-litre engine prioritizes fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance, suitable for urban commuting and occasional highway cruising.

  1. Manufacturing Strategy

Chennai-built production reduces costs and helps BMW offer more competitive pricing while maintaining quality. It also demonstrates a long-term commitment to the Indian market.

Should You Prebook?

  • Desirability: Styling, tech, and premium feel make it a compelling buy for status and substance.
  • Timing: Booking now positions you early in the queue, ideally for a delivery during the festive season.

The launch of the made-in-India BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe represents a pivotal moment for the brand, targeting the aspirational luxury sedan segment with precision. With a striking new design, cutting-edge digital interface, and practical drivetrain, BMW is set to capture the attention of younger buyers. The combination of local manufacturing and the timing of the launch signals a calculated play to maximise visibility and sales around India’s festive peak.

As bookings opened from 9 July 2025, prospective buyers are encouraged to reserve their spot early. With the official launch set for 17 July 2025, the new 2 Series Gran Coupe is poised to redefine the entry-luxury coupe-sedan space in India. All new Range Rover SV Black Unveiled

The new Range Rover SV Black debuts as the darkest, most immersive luxury SUV Land Rover has yet produced—wrapped in an all-black Narvik Gloss finish and featuring groundbreaking Sensory Floor and BodyAndSoul Seat audio-wellness technology. Powering the model is a potent 615 PS V8, and it debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ahead of late 2025 availability.

A New Apex in Stealth Luxury

Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division has just introduced the Range Rover SV Black, positioned as the “darkest, stealthiest” variant in the SV portfolio. With its full-body “dipped-in-black” aesthetic enveloped in Narvik Gloss Black, every painted surface—from grille to brake callipers to 23″ wheels—speaks to an uncompromising monochrome design intent. Even the SV badge at the rear is finished in black ceramic, a subtle yet unmistakable mark of its elite pedigree.

Exterior: Refined Darkness

Beyond the bold gloss-black paint, the SV Black’s exterior design is meticulously detailed:

  • Grille and bonnet lettering are rendered in polished Gloss Black. A dark-gloss Land Rover oval completes the front fascia’s stealthy look
  • 23″ gloss-black alloy wheels, with matching scripted logos and brake callipers, accentuate its presence
  • Black ceramic SV roundel at the rear nods to both performance and craftsmanship

Every exterior element has been curated to reinforce an aura of classy anonymity, yet unmistakable distinction.

Interior: Satin Sophistication

Inside, the SV Black’s cabin continues the dark theme with a luxurious twist. It’s wrapped in near-aniline ebony leather trimmed with a single-panel seat design—a first for Range Rover—minimizing stitching to amplify sleekness. Black birch veneers lend a soft, satin finish and complement black ceramic touches on the gear shifter. Moonlight Chrome detailing offers a jewel-like contrast, casting a cool, ambient glow.

Sensory Audio: A First-of-its-Kind Experience

Perhaps the flagship feature of the SV Black—and the SV line in general—is the combined Body And Soul Seat (BASS) and Sensory Floor system. Seat-embedded transducers have already been part of the SV experience, but for the first time, haptic feedback is delivered through the floor via four additional transducers per passenger footwell.

  • Meridian Signature Surround System, seat and floor transducers, and AI-optimised software synchronize to create a full-body audio immersion.
  • Wellness modes: The system offers six programs—from “Calm” to “Invigorating”—designed to alleviate stress, improve concentration, and enhance cognitive state through targeted sound and vibration.
  • Standard fitment on long-wheelbase models ensures all passengers, even in the back, can benefit from this multi-sensory experience.

These features redefine the boundaries of luxury by meshing physiological wellness with high-fidelity audio in a novel way.

Powertrain and Performance

True to the SV ethos, the SV Black is powered by a V8 delivering 615 PS (approx 606 bhp), ensuring refined yet effortless performance. Customers can choose between a five-seat standard wheelbase or four- and five-seat long-wheelbase versions, all set to hit showrooms in late.

Sustainable Innovation on Wheels

Looking beyond aesthetics, Range Rover SV models—notably the SV Black—will roll out industry-first Pirelli P Zero tyres in 22″ fitment. These tyres boast over 70% bio-based and recycled material, including silica from rice husks and FSC™-certified natural rubber, marking a step toward sustainability in luxury performance.

Global Preview and Availability

The SV Black makes its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK (July 10–13, 2025), where it will share the spotlight with the Range Rover Sport SV Black variant. Orders open in late 2025, with global availability to follow.

Editorial Perspective

The SV Black is a masterclass in discreet dominance. Where some luxury SUVs shout with chromed grilles or bright callipers, this Range Rover whispers its credentials—yet speaks volumes. The combination of extreme monochrome styling with tactile, wellness-focused audio technology signals a shift toward multi-sensory driving experiences that prioritize emotional resonance as much as outright luxury.

Well-informed Aston Martin or Bentley clients seeking serenity behind the wheel might find a compelling alternative in SV Black’s full-bodied immersion. Meanwhile, the Pirelli sustainable tyre collaboration shows Land Rover isn’t sacrificing environmental progress for performance.

In a segment where aesthetic and technological firsts are hard-won, SV Black stakes its claim not through flashy trim but through quietly commanding detail and immersive innovation. It’s a statement: luxury is no longer just seen or heard—it’s felt.

Bentley Revs Up India Strategy with SAVWIPL Partnership

In a strategic move that signals a deeper commitment to one of the world’s fastest-growing ultra-luxury car markets, Bentley Motors has announced the formation of a new national sales company in India—Bentley India Private Limited—which will operate under the umbrella of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL), starting July 1, 2025.

The iconic British marque, known globally for its handcrafted opulence and powerful grand tourers, is now aligning its India operations with the larger Volkswagen Group’s regional framework. This transition marks a significant shift in how Bentley will function in the country, moving from its earlier importer-led structure to a more integrated and directly managed presence.

A New Chapter for Bentley in India

The new entity, Bentley India Private Limited, will assume responsibility for importing, distributing, marketing, and after-sales service of Bentley vehicles across the country. This transition was confirmed by Bentley Motors through an official press release, outlining the brand’s ambition to scale its operations in India with a renewed strategic focus and stronger alignment with global standards.

While Bentley has had a limited presence in India for over a decade through its long-standing partner Exclusive Motors, the shift to a manufacturer-backed national sales company reflects Bentley’s recognition of India’s evolving ultra-luxury automotive landscape. The company has clarified that Exclusive Motors will continue to serve as Bentley’s retail partner in New Delhi.

Richard Leopold, Regional Director, EMEA at Bentley Motors, said “India is one of the world’s most dynamic economies, and the launch of Bentley India in the country reflects Bentley’s focus on growth in a market where we already have a strong and growing high-net-worth customer base. We’re grateful to the SAVWIPL team for bringing this partnership to life.” said

According to the official press release, Bentley India is set to appoint three dealer partners across key cities, starting with Bengaluru and Mumbai, followed by New Delhi. These new showrooms will offer India’s ultra-high-net-worth customers Bentley’s signature combination of performance, craftsmanship, and luxury.

SAVWIPL: Steering Bentley’s India Strategy

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India—the entity responsible for leading the Group’s operations in India across brands like Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Škoda—will now oversee Bentley’s strategic and operational roadmap in India. With Bentley now being the fifth brand under the SAVWIPL umbrella, the group further consolidates its presence across the spectrum of premium to ultra-luxury vehicles in the country.

The decision aligns with Bentley’s Beyond100 strategy—its global vision of becoming the most sustainable luxury automotive brand. With India’s growing cohort of high-net-worth individuals and increasing appetite for ultra-luxury cars, Bentley sees immense potential to expand its footprint in a market that’s gradually maturing.

India’s Growing Role in Bentley’s Global Map

India’s ultra-luxury car segment, though niche, has seen a steady uptick, particularly post-pandemic, as wealth creation in tier-1 and tier-2 cities accelerates. Brands like Bentley, which cater to the highest echelon of automotive clientele, are beginning to see India not just as a symbolic market but as one with tangible long-term growth.

The new operational structure will surely help Bentley offer a more seamless, premium customer journey—from order configuration and delivery to service and personalization. The aim is to bring the Indian buyer experience in line with Bentley’s global standards, aided by SAVWIPL’s established infrastructure, local expertise, and regulatory knowledge.

What’s Next for Bentley Customers in India?

For current and prospective customers, the shift is expected to translate into better service delivery, quicker turnaround times, and deeper engagement with the brand. While the operational transition will officially be completed by July 2025, Bentley has assured that existing customer services and commitments will continue without disruption during the transition.

There are also expectations that this renewed structure could pave the way for more model launches, higher levels of bespoke customization, and improved after-sales engagement, all underpinned by the robust support of SAVWIPL’s nationwide capabilities.

In Summary

Bentley’s decision to establish a national sales company in India under the stewardship of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India is more than a structural update—it is a strategic recommitment to a market poised for luxury disruption. As India moves into the spotlight for global ultra-luxury carmakers, Bentley’s revamped playbook is a clear sign that the British marque intends to be more than a rare sight on Indian roads—it wants to be a relevant player in the garages of India’s elite.

The announcement signals a new chapter for the German luxury carmaker in one of its fastest-growing global markets. Mr. Brar, a well-respected figure in the Indian automotive landscape, steps into the role with over three decades of rich and varied experience across some of the biggest names in the industry.

His extensive career also includes senior management positions at Maruti-Suzuki, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, General Motors, Nissan Motor, and Great Wall Motor Company. This diverse background, spanning mass-market to premium segments, gives him an intricate understanding of the Indian market’s unique dynamics. Mr. Jean-Philippe Parain, Senior Vice President, Region Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa at BMW Group, expressed his confidence in the new leadership. “India is among the fastest growing markets for BMW Group and an important pillar of our long-term success strategy for the region,” he stated. “Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar holds vast expertise and an intricate understanding of the Indian automotive industry to lead this dynamic market and strengthen BMW Group’s operations here”.

The outgoing leader, Mr. Vikram Pawah, has had a successful tenure with the BMW Group, having joined in 2017. He has skillfully navigated the company’s operations in India for two separate terms (2017-2018 and 2020-2025) and also led the Australian market from 2018 to 2020. Under his leadership, BMW Group India sharpened its focus on expanding market share, particularly by targeting new customer segments. Pawah was instrumental in pushing the brand’s electric mobility ambitions, enhancing the digital and retail experience, and embedding a deep sense of customer-centricity in the company’s operations. Mr. Parain acknowledged his contributions, thanking him “for his immense contribution towards the strategic growth of BMW Group India and playing a decisive role in its recent development”.

BMW Group India, a 100% subsidiary of the BMW Group, has established a strong presence since it began operations in 2007. BMW India Achieves Record H1 2025 Sales

BMW Group India is riding a wave of strong momentum in the Indian luxury car market. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded its highest-ever H1 car deliveries, with 7,774 units sold across BMW and MINI brands, marking a 10% year-on-year growth. This follows an impressive calendar year 2024 performance, where BMW India, including MINI, achieved total sales of 15,721 units, making it the second-best-selling luxury car brand in the country.

H1 2025: BMW’s Launchpad for Growth

Fast-forward to the first half of 2025, and BMW Group India showcased its strongest performance to date:

  • 7,774 units sold, up nearly 10% from H1 2024.
  • The surge was driven largely by a boom in EVs and long-wheelbase models
  • EV deliveries leapt 234%, with 1,322 electrified units sold— capturing an impressive 18% of all BMW sales
  • Long-wheelbase variants (3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, iX1 LWB) spiked 159%, commanding 47% of the sales pie

Model Highlights: What’s Hot

  • BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase—the hero of the EV push, topping BMW’s electromobility charts.
  • Sedans: The 5 Series claimed the title of best-selling sedan, while the 3 Series maintained dominance in the premium segment.
  • SAVs (Sports Activity Vehicles): X1 led the compact SUV pack with over 30% share, followed by the X5—overall SAVs grew 17% in H.
  • MINI: 297 units sold in H1; the Cooper S and Countryman E were standout performers.

Experience & Strategy: Beyond Just Sales

BMW isn’t just chasing numbers. The company has invested heavily in enhancing customer experience and supporting its growth trajectory:

  • Retail.NEXT: A ₹365.6 crore transformation of 56 showrooms across 33 cities, bringing immersive, digitally enabled retail experiences to buyers.
  • Smart Finance Solutions: Flexible EMI plans, assured buybacks, and easy upgrade options—designed to make luxury ownership smoother.

What It All Means

When it comes to overall luxury car sales in the calendar year 2024, Mercedes-Benz led the pack with 19,565 units sold, while BMW India, including MINI, followed closely with 15,721 units. The gap of just 3,844 units highlights how BMW is steadily closing in on the market leader. While BMW has already shared its record-breaking H1 2025 figures, Mercedes-Benz is yet to announce its half-yearly numbers, which will give a clearer picture of how the competition is shaping up in 2025.

BMW’s rapid gain in H1 2025—particularly in EVs and long-wheelbase models—is a strong signal that its strategy is resonating with Indian luxury buyers. Coupled with aggressive customer engagement and finance tools, BMW is positioned to keep the pressure on Mercedes going forward.

Bottom Line

BMW India has turned up the heat. From a credible second in 2024 to a breakout H1 in 2025, the brand is blending product innovation with smart customer engagement. If the recent pace holds, the script for luxury Bavarian dominance in India may just have a thrilling next chapter.

Audi Q7 Signature Edition Launched at ₹99.81 Lakh in India

Audi India has introduced a new top-tier variant of its flagship SUV, the Q7. The Audi Q7 Signature Edition has been launched in India at a price of ₹99.81 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition model, limited to a select few units, arrives at a time when Audi is looking to bolster its sales and refresh its portfolio in the country.

A Touch of Exclusivity: What’s New in the Signature Edition?

The Signature Edition of the Audi Q7 is all about adding a layer of exclusivity and premium appeal to the already luxurious SUV. While the mechanics remain unchanged, the enhancements are focused on cosmetic and feature upgrades. Here’s a look at what sets this limited-edition model apart:

  • Enhanced Exterior: The most noticeable change is the revised front grille. The octagonal grille now features a new design with vertical bars, adding to the SUV’s commanding presence. The Signature Edition also gets dynamic lighting, puddle lamps with the Audi logo projection, and integrated window blinds. A metallic key cover is also part of the package.
  • Premium Interiors: Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by luxurious interiors with features like heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium B&O sound system. The cabin experience is further elevated with features like four-zone climate control, a large touchscreen infotainment system, and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit.
  • Safety and Convenience: The Signature Edition is loaded with safety features, including eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, lane departure warning, and park assist. Convenience features include gesture-controlled boot access and stainless steel pedal covers.

Under the Hood: Familiar Power and Performance

The Audi Q7 Signature Edition continues to be powered by the same 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that does duty on the standard model. This engine is paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and produces 340 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Audi’s India Strategy: A Timely Launch

Audi India reported 1,223 retail units in Q1 2025, marking a healthy 17% year-on-year growth, with strong performances from models like the Q7 and Q8. However, the momentum waned in Q2, contributing to H1 2025 sales of just 2,128 units, a 14% from the same period last year (2,477 units in H1 2024)

The decline has been attributed to currency-driven price hikes (about 2% from mid-May) and global economic uncertainty. That said, Audi’s preowned division, Audi Approved, grew around 10% in H1, signalling stable demand in the certified used-car market. The company is also rolling out more than 6,500 charging stations under its “Charge My Audi” initiative, signalling a firm EV focus

The launch of the Q7 Signature Edition comes at a crucial time for Audi India. By introducing this limited-edition model, Audi aims to create a buzz in the market and attract discerning customers who are looking for something unique. This move is also in line with the company’s strategy of focusing on premium and high-margin products. The company is also betting big on its electric portfolio, with a growing lineup of e-tron models.

The festive season is a crucial period for car manufacturers in India, and with the launch of the Q7 Signature Edition, Audi is hoping to capitalize on the positive sentiment and boost its sales in the second half of the year.

Final Thoughts

The Audi Q7 Signature Edition, with its cosmetic enhancements and added features, is a compelling proposition for those who want a full-size luxury SUV that stands out from the crowd. While the changes are not drastic, they are significant enough to give the Q7 a fresh lease of life. The limited availability of this model further adds to its desirability. It remains to be seen how this new launch will impact Audi’s sales in India, but it is certainly a step in the right direction.

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 & GT 63 Pro Launched in India

When it comes to high-performance luxury, few names ignite automotive passion like Mercedes-AMG. Born from a relentless racing spirit and precision German engineering, AMG—short for Aufrecht, Melcher, and Großaspach—is Mercedes-Benz’s performance division known for transforming luxury vehicles into track-bred beasts. And now, that beast has returned to Indian roads in a more aggressive, more powerful form: the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and GT 63 Pro.

The New Flagship of AMG in India

Mercedes-Benz India has officially launched the all-new AMG GT 63 and its more hardcore sibling, the GT 63 Pro, priced at ₹3 crore and ₹3.65 crore (ex-showroom) respectively. These two-door performance coupes represent the pinnacle of AMG engineering, sitting at the very top of Mercedes’ performance portfolio in India.

Power That Commands Respect

Under the long, sculpted hood of both variants lies the beating heart of AMG: a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This motor produces an earth-shattering 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque, paired with AMG’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system and a 9-speed AMG Speedshift transmission. This setup catapults the GT 63 from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 315 km/h—performance figures that blur the lines between road car and race car.

The GT 63 Pro takes things further, producing 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque with a suite of enhancements designed for the enthusiast who wants every bit of feedback and precision on the tarmac. From upgraded aero elements and stiffer suspension tuning to bespoke driving dynamics, the Pro is not just a grand tourer—it’s a statement on wheels.

Design That Screams Performance

The design of the AMG GT 63 is unmistakably bold. A long bonnet, wide stance, aggressive Panamericana grille, and an active rear spoiler make it look every bit the predator it is. Inside, the cabin cocoons the driver in luxury and technology, with AMG Performance seats, carbon fibre trims, a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, and the signature MBUX infotainment system loaded with track telemetry features and customizable drive modes.

Built for the Few

Unlike mass-produced sports cars, the AMG GT 63 is handcrafted in Affalterbach, Germany, where each engine is assembled by a single technician under AMG’s iconic “One Man, One Engine” philosophy. This attention to detail ensures that every GT 63 and GT 63 Pro delivers not just speed, but a soul-stirring driving experience.

India’s Growing Appetite for High-Performance Luxury

With the launch of the GT 63 twins, Mercedes-Benz India is signaling its intent to deepen its AMG footprint in the country. Over the past few years, India has seen a growing number of high-net-worth individuals embracing performance luxury cars, not just as status symbols, but as expressions of personal taste and passion. The GT 63 fits perfectly into this evolving mindset.

Final Word

The arrival of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and GT 63 Pro marks more than just a product launch—it marks a statement of intent. With cutting-edge engineering, jaw-dropping design, and a driving experience that stirs the soul, these AMGs are more than just cars. They are icons.

For those who live fast, think bold, and demand the very best, the GT 63 isn’t just a car—it’s the ultimate expression of power, passion, and prestige.

Mercedes-Benz India Hikes Prices in June 2025

Gurugram, June 9, 2025Mercedes-Benz India has hiked price across its portfolio, effective June 1, 2025. This move comes amid rising import costs and a weakening Indian rupee, prompting the luxury automaker to adjust its pricing strategy to maintain profitability and operational sustainability.

This move comes in response to mounting economic pressures, including a nearly 10% depreciation of the Indian rupee against the Euro over the past four-five months, which has substantially increased the cost of importing vehicles and components.

In terms of specifics, the price hikes vary significantly across models. For instance, the C 200 has seen a modest increase from ₹59.4 lakh to ₹60.3 lakh, while the GLC 300 4MATIC has gone from ₹76.8 lakh to ₹78.3 lakh. The E 200 now costs ₹81.5 lakh, up from ₹79.5 lakh. The EQS SUV 450 4MATIC has jumped from ₹1.28 crore to ₹1.31 crore.

This price revision places Mercedes-Benz in line with other luxury automakers like Audi and BMW, who have also adjusted prices in recent months due to similar economic challenges.

Mercedes-Benz India has stated that it is working to increase local assembly and sourcing to reduce dependency on imports. This could help stabilize prices in the future and make luxury more accessible to Indian buyers.

As the Indian luxury car market continues to evolve, these pricing strategies reflect the broader global economic shifts and the increasing cost of maintaining premium automotive standards in a volatile currency environment.

While the price hike may be disappointing for prospective buyers, it reflects broader economic realities and the challenges of operating in a globalized automotive market. For those considering a Mercedes-Benz, now might be the time to act before the second phase of the expected hike kicks in this September.

List of Mercedes-Benz India Price 2025
